WYOMING OUTDOOR WEEKEND

Connecting People and Place
with Design & Marketing

Wyoming Outdoor Weekend (WOW) is a collaborative event hosted by the Lander Economic Development Association and the Wyoming Game & Fish Department, celebrating Fremont County’s abundant outdoor recreation opportunities. This annual gathering highlights the region as a prime destination for outdoor enthusiasts, boosts the local economy, and promotes the conservation of Wyoming’s unique wildlife.
I had the opportunity to work alongside the Wyoming Game & Fish Department on the promotional design for WOW. My role involved creating event posters, t-shirt designs, signage, itineraries, and menus that unified the event’s visual identity. For the design, I drew inspiration from Sinks Canyon, a locally iconic landmark, incorporating its distinctive features into the graphic to give the event a sense of place. I also photographed attendees, vendors, and activities, helping to build a rich archive of promotional content for future WOW events.
Working with the incredible team at Wyoming Game & Fish was an absolute highlight—their passion for conservation and commitment to the community made this project a truly rewarding experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with such a dedicated group of professionals.
